Hi lovely human,
I wanted to write this email to say thank you, and to ask you something.
So many of my favourite designs over the years have come directly from your suggestions.
Some of them were beautifully specific and full of character, and they’ve led me down creative paths I might never have explored otherwise.
The blue-footed booby birds are still a favourite of mine, and right now I’m working on a pair of kookaburra earrings suggested by a customer called Julianne, which already feel full of story and charm.

Why I love designing this way
That’s something I really value about Silver Rain Silver. It’s never been about chasing trends, but about creating storytelling jewellery. Pieces inspired by animals, nature, curiosity, and small details that mean something to the person wearing them. I love that there’s room for many different tastes, stories, and ideas.
With silver prices having more than doubled over the last 12 months, choosing to make more niche designs does come with its challenges. But I feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that resonates with this way of creating, and that supports thoughtful, character-led pieces.

I loved reading your email about asking customers for suggestions. My idea would be rhinos earrings. They are my favourite animal as they are majestic and against all odds, are desperately trying to survive!

Hi,
I work with animals- specifically reptiles. This past decade there has been a real boom in people enjoying hognose snake species, this is because they are small, cute and have a real range of personalities people can connect to. I myself have 13 of them including a rarer species in the UK. I feel snakes are always misrepresented in media and in jewellery it is always the same designs. I would love if you could make some snake designs that are totally unique!

Moissanite nose stud I have had to buy them elsewhere as you do not stock any the nose piercing jewellery is very limited even though lots of people who I have told about your earrings had their noses piercesd

Hi I am part of the crochet community which is pretty big, I also co-host a retreat, and therefore have made a lot of friends in the community. We buy for birthdays Christmas etc. I’d absolutely love to see some earrings or pendants in the shape of balls of yarn, with crochet hooks in them, not knitting needles! Crochet hooks, so there could be balls of yarn, balls of yarn with hooks, just hooks, two hooks crossed over, studs, dangling hooks, so many ideas! But! I think they’d be a good seller.
Also books! Book earrings, that’s why I got your dragon ones as I love books about dragons, so many options x
