Some of my favourite designs began as customer suggestions 💙

    Hi lovely human,

I wanted to write this email to say thank you, and to ask you something.

    From your ideas to silver

So many of my favourite designs over the years have come directly from your suggestions.

Some of them were beautifully specific and full of character, and they’ve led me down creative paths I might never have explored otherwise.

The blue-footed booby birds are still a favourite of mine, and right now I’m working on a pair of kookaburra earrings suggested by a customer called Julianne, which already feel full of story and charm.

“My kids love your earrings, especially the birds and sea-themed ones. If you ever make anything with kookaburras, please let me know.”

Why I love designing this way

That’s something I really value about Silver Rain Silver. It’s never been about chasing trends, but about creating storytelling jewellery. Pieces inspired by animals, nature, curiosity, and small details that mean something to the person wearing them. I love that there’s room for many different tastes, stories, and ideas.

With silver prices having more than doubled over the last 12 months, choosing to make more niche designs does come with its challenges. But I feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that resonates with this way of creating, and that supports thoughtful, character-led pieces.

    I'd love your ideas

So I wanted to ask you.
If there’s an animal, idea, or little story you’d love to see turned into a piece of jewellery, I’d truly love to hear it.

Thank you for being here, for sharing your ideas, and for supporting this small brand.

    With gratitude,
    Emma

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to share an idea and also to say how much I love your jewellery.

I would absolutely love to own a piece featuring a Brussels Griffon – like my girl, Annie. They’re a rarer breed, and I never seem to come across jewellery that represents them, which feels like such a missed opportunity. They’re incredibly cute and distinctive, and I honestly think pieces featuring Brussels Griffons would be hugely popular among owners.

I also wanted to say how much I adore all of my Silver Rain Silver pieces. Every time I wear them, I’m amazed by the quality and craftsmanship – they really are special, and I recommend you to people all the time.

Thank you for creating such beautiful jewellery, and for taking the time to read my suggestion.

I’d love to see a Golden Retriever on there. There is a lab but not the aforementioned..
    Love your earrings!

I would love to get some earrings featuring a walking boot and a rucksack. Just a pair of boots would be great though. Another thought is a necklace with a walking boot and a rucksack as two separate items on one chain – two flat shapes sitting on top of one another as a pendant.
Other idea was a seagull and a sandwich. Living on the south coast the seagulls are renowned for sandwich and chip theft!

    Thanks

I would love to see the flower of Cumbria, Grass-of-Parnassus, as earrings, either studs or drops. It is a very simple, delicate flower, which always brings me great joy when I find it on a fell walk. It appears on both the Cumbrian and Cumberland flags.

Hi. This isn’t an idea but just a request. Would you be able to add a filter when you look at hoop earrings, just to look at huggie earrings? But not for open huggie earings? The closed ones. Just because thats the only style I wear but at the moment the only way to look for them (I think) is to search in the search bar for huggie, and then you loose the ability to filter / sort the same way you do when you browse the collection from the main menu. Just an idea :)
