Screw Backs (with balls): Post length is 6mm, 0.9mm thick (fits 18 gauge).
Studs (with butterfly backs): Post length is 11mm, 0.7mm thick (fits 20 gauge).

Bit fiddly as they are so tiny, but my daughter managed it. Her ears are not long pierced, so these were perfect for her to wear all the time. Flat backs make them very comfy. She loves them.
