Have an idea you’d love to see in silver?
Some of my favourite designs began as customer suggestions 💙
Hi lovely human,
I wanted to write this email to say thank you, and to ask you something.
So many of my favourite designs over the years have come directly from your suggestions.
Some of them were beautifully specific and full of character, and they’ve led me down creative paths I might never have explored otherwise.
The blue-footed booby birds are still a favourite of mine, and right now I’m working on a pair of kookaburra earrings suggested by a customer called Julianne, which already feel full of story and charm.

Why I love designing this way
That’s something I really value about Silver Rain Silver. It’s never been about chasing trends, but about creating storytelling jewellery. Pieces inspired by animals, nature, curiosity, and small details that mean something to the person wearing them. I love that there’s room for many different tastes, stories, and ideas.
With silver prices having more than doubled over the last 12 months, choosing to make more niche designs does come with its challenges. But I feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that resonates with this way of creating, and that supports thoughtful, character-led pieces.
I'd love your ideas
So I wanted to ask you.
If there’s an animal, idea, or little story you’d love to see turned into a piece of jewellery, I’d truly love to hear it.
Thank you for being here, for sharing your ideas, and for supporting this small brand.
With gratitude,
Emma

I’d love to have mis-matched tea and cake stud earrings.
One black cat one white cat would be amazing 😻
I have two ideas. One is to have a teapot pendant to match the stunning earrings you already have! Gotta be matchy matchy!! And my other idea is pea pods. The main pod in metal with coloured/gem peas. Could be sets of twos or three peas. And of course with matching huggie hoops x
I love the kookaburra earrings, my Mum grew up in Australia and these would be a perfect gift for her! I’d also love to see more NZ birds like the Kea parrot or Morepork (owl). But closer to home, what about game birds like pheasant and partridge?
I’d love to see a simple ICTHUS/ICTHYS
Also one w a little cross for the Icthus ‘eye’
These would go well w the lovely crosses that you have.
Thank you for the opportunity of making a suggestion. AH
