Have an idea you’d love to see in silver?
Some of my favourite designs began as customer suggestions 💙
Hi lovely human,
I wanted to write this email to say thank you, and to ask you something.
So many of my favourite designs over the years have come directly from your suggestions.
Some of them were beautifully specific and full of character, and they’ve led me down creative paths I might never have explored otherwise.
The blue-footed booby birds are still a favourite of mine, and right now I’m working on a pair of kookaburra earrings suggested by a customer called Julianne, which already feel full of story and charm.

Why I love designing this way
That’s something I really value about Silver Rain Silver. It’s never been about chasing trends, but about creating storytelling jewellery. Pieces inspired by animals, nature, curiosity, and small details that mean something to the person wearing them. I love that there’s room for many different tastes, stories, and ideas.
With silver prices having more than doubled over the last 12 months, choosing to make more niche designs does come with its challenges. But I feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that resonates with this way of creating, and that supports thoughtful, character-led pieces.
I'd love your ideas
So I wanted to ask you.
If there’s an animal, idea, or little story you’d love to see turned into a piece of jewellery, I’d truly love to hear it.
Thank you for being here, for sharing your ideas, and for supporting this small brand.
With gratitude,
Emma

I have a few necklaces and love them. I would LOVE an ibis as they are my favourite bird species. Also for the other earrings if they came in flat back option with thicker posts so they could be worn all the time in cartilage piercings that would be amazing too.
I have mentioned this previously but gerbils don’t get anywhere near as much attention as hamsters and guinea pigs so I’d love to see them. I also love goldfish and have a pair from you already but maybe there could be a coloured design?
Also species of houseplants such as Anthurium clarinervium would be cool.
Little caterpillar earrings, kinda similar to the one in the hungry caterpillar
And maybe a few other lil bugs
A pair of wolf head earrings and a wolf necklace perhaps with some sort of colour in the eyes that look like coloured gemstones
Some cornflowers Dangle earings would be absolutely darling
