Some of my favourite designs began as customer suggestions 💙

    Hi lovely human,

I wanted to write this email to say thank you, and to ask you something.

    From your ideas to silver

So many of my favourite designs over the years have come directly from your suggestions.

Some of them were beautifully specific and full of character, and they’ve led me down creative paths I might never have explored otherwise.

The blue-footed booby birds are still a favourite of mine, and right now I’m working on a pair of kookaburra earrings suggested by a customer called Julianne, which already feel full of story and charm.

“My kids love your earrings, especially the birds and sea-themed ones. If you ever make anything with kookaburras, please let me know.”
    — Julianne, customer

Why I love designing this way

That’s something I really value about Silver Rain Silver. It’s never been about chasing trends, but about creating storytelling jewellery. Pieces inspired by animals, nature, curiosity, and small details that mean something to the person wearing them. I love that there’s room for many different tastes, stories, and ideas.

With silver prices having more than doubled over the last 12 months, choosing to make more niche designs does come with its challenges. But I feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that resonates with this way of creating, and that supports thoughtful, character-led pieces.

    I'd love your ideas

So I wanted to ask you.
If there’s an animal, idea, or little story you’d love to see turned into a piece of jewellery, I’d truly love to hear it.

Thank you for being here, for sharing your ideas, and for supporting this small brand.

    With gratitude,
    Emma

I would love to see some silver Weedy Seadragon earrings. Your jewellery is a marine biologists dream!

How about some wolves with or without a moon?

Personalisation options- to be able to add messages, stamping, engraving etc

A ‘make your own’ option- select the product, material, products- like, this particular chain with this particular charm and a certain clasp to make the bracelet, earring, necklace etc exactly what you want.

Larger ring sizes than currently available- I can buy only the adjustable rings as the largest size normal/sold band rings don’t fit

The option to not receive the velvet bag when you order- I feel bad throwing them away all the time.

    More bugs

    Cute worms (maybe with hats)

A cute range- kind of like how people draw everyday things and then add a little pair of eyes and a tiny smile to make it cute and have a personality- like a toaster with a little smile for example

Dangle/drop mushroom earring options – realistic

    Western/cowboy themed items

    Bigger range of cacti

A stationary range of jewellery- pens, pencils. Rulers etc

    Gaming themed jewellery

Jellyfish earrings-not 2D/flat like the current ones, but more 3D and classy

More nature themed scenery and landscape designs like mountains, lake, forests and rivers. Would work in circle and square design earrings, necklace pendants.

An astronomy themed range including the constellations

    - A pair of kitsune/Japanese fox masks with red details and in the style of studs. Extra points if they have a screw or flat back!
    - Pomegranates? Or maybe some Greek mythology-inspired designs!
