Have an idea you’d love to see in silver?
Some of my favourite designs began as customer suggestions 💙
Hi lovely human,
I wanted to write this email to say thank you, and to ask you something.
So many of my favourite designs over the years have come directly from your suggestions.
Some of them were beautifully specific and full of character, and they’ve led me down creative paths I might never have explored otherwise.
The blue-footed booby birds are still a favourite of mine, and right now I’m working on a pair of kookaburra earrings suggested by a customer called Julianne, which already feel full of story and charm.

Why I love designing this way
That’s something I really value about Silver Rain Silver. It’s never been about chasing trends, but about creating storytelling jewellery. Pieces inspired by animals, nature, curiosity, and small details that mean something to the person wearing them. I love that there’s room for many different tastes, stories, and ideas.
With silver prices having more than doubled over the last 12 months, choosing to make more niche designs does come with its challenges. But I feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that resonates with this way of creating, and that supports thoughtful, character-led pieces.
I'd love your ideas
So I wanted to ask you.
If there’s an animal, idea, or little story you’d love to see turned into a piece of jewellery, I’d truly love to hear it.
Thank you for being here, for sharing your ideas, and for supporting this small brand.
With gratitude,
Emma

Flower fairies. Myself and grandchildren love them. Would look lovely now with enamel colouring.
Love all the flower inspired jewellery and have had a lot for myself and as gifts.
I would love the skeleton hands heart in earrings – I work in a hospital and we can only wear studs no jewels
As weird as this may sound, I’d love a pair of lobotomy tools. I’m a psych student was gifted the brain and neuron sleepers for christmas, which I’m absolutely obsessed with. I’d love to see anything that’s Psychology related!
Okay so this might be too niche but my fiancé is obsessed with trains and we’re our wedding breakfast on a moving train so I would die for some train jewellery I could wear for then and for afterwards
I’d love to see more birds! I adore your bird collection. I had a crimson rosella when I was younger, and now have a hahn’s macaw, both woefully under represented! There are so many beautiful birds, painted buntings, fairy wrens, gouldian finches, zebra finches.
My niece is a dancer and I’d love to see more ballet theme pieces, they make excellent gifts.
Have you thought about cufflinks? My husband works for a cruise company and I’d love to get him some little ships or anchors to wear, especially as he has a relative who was in the merchant navy.
