Some of my favourite designs began as customer suggestions 💙

    Hi lovely human,

I wanted to write this email to say thank you, and to ask you something.

    From your ideas to silver

So many of my favourite designs over the years have come directly from your suggestions.

Some of them were beautifully specific and full of character, and they’ve led me down creative paths I might never have explored otherwise.

The blue-footed booby birds are still a favourite of mine, and right now I’m working on a pair of kookaburra earrings suggested by a customer called Julianne, which already feel full of story and charm.

“My kids love your earrings, especially the birds and sea-themed ones. If you ever make anything with kookaburras, please let me know.”

Why I love designing this way

That’s something I really value about Silver Rain Silver. It’s never been about chasing trends, but about creating storytelling jewellery. Pieces inspired by animals, nature, curiosity, and small details that mean something to the person wearing them. I love that there’s room for many different tastes, stories, and ideas.

With silver prices having more than doubled over the last 12 months, choosing to make more niche designs does come with its challenges. But I feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that resonates with this way of creating, and that supports thoughtful, character-led pieces.

    I'd love your ideas

So I wanted to ask you.
If there’s an animal, idea, or little story you’d love to see turned into a piece of jewellery, I’d truly love to hear it.

Thank you for being here, for sharing your ideas, and for supporting this small brand.

    With gratitude,
    Emma

My mum loves stargazer lilies and she really loves the bluebells from you, my dad was abusive and her escape was a bluebell wood, so she associates them with calm and joy. A pair of scissors and a paw print for groomers would be really cool too

Please an Airedale Terrier. I am one of many thousands of Airedale nutters. You would absolutely sell out once I put the word out. We all buy everything Airedale xx

A tiny squirrel necklace would be amazing! When I was little, my grandad always told me tales about cheeky Sammy Squirrel who lived in the woods behind his house (he was a red squirrel). And when my kids were born he told them the same tales right up until he passed, aged 101 in 2021. He had the best story telling voice with a part Welsh, part Lancashire accent.
