Have an idea you’d love to see in silver?

Some of my favourite designs began as customer suggestions 💙

Hi lovely human,

I wanted to write this email to say thank you, and to ask you something.

From your ideas to silver

So many of my favourite designs over the years have come directly from your suggestions.

Some of them were beautifully specific and full of character, and they’ve led me down creative paths I might never have explored otherwise.

The blue-footed booby birds are still a favourite of mine, and right now I’m working on a pair of kookaburra earrings suggested by a customer called Julianne, which already feel full of story and charm.

“My kids love your earrings, especially the birds and sea-themed ones. If you ever make anything with kookaburras, please let me know.”
— Julianne, customer

Why I love designing this way

That’s something I really value about Silver Rain Silver. It’s never been about chasing trends, but about creating storytelling jewellery. Pieces inspired by animals, nature, curiosity, and small details that mean something to the person wearing them. I love that there’s room for many different tastes, stories, and ideas.

With silver prices having more than doubled over the last 12 months, choosing to make more niche designs does come with its challenges. But I feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that resonates with this way of creating, and that supports thoughtful, character-led pieces.

I'd love your ideas

So I wanted to ask you.
If there’s an animal, idea, or little story you’d love to see turned into a piece of jewellery, I’d truly love to hear it.

Thank you for being here, for sharing your ideas, and for supporting this small brand.

With gratitude,
Emma

Hello, so I am passionate about running, I work at races, run races and currently training for my first marathon in April. I would love a pair running lady earrings an all mental colours. I have a pink sticker on my car and even have a personal plate with RUN as the last 3 letters. So just missing some earrings. Many thanks, Sarah

Hi Emma,

I’ve ordered a few things from you over the past couple of years and they’ve all been a great hit with the recipients (if presents) and with me (when I buy myself a present!). I saw your email about jewellery design suggestions and thought I’d drop you a message. How about skis? In my head I can picture a matching set of crossed skis earrings and a crossed skis pendant. I’d love to buy these for my daughters and myself ahead of our ski trip in February, and possibly for others who love skiing. I reckon it would be a good line to sell this Christmas too!

Have a lovely day.

Ok so I have three different animals that I’d love to see some designs of, they’re all mammals and they’re all pretty unique. I’d live to see a platypus, an echidna and I’d especially love to see a pangolin. The pangolin are famous for rolling into a ball for self defence as they’re the only mammal in the world with scales. If you could somehow produce an articulated pangolin charm that roles into a ball, I think that would be awesome.

Anything book themed would be wonderful, thank you 😊📚
