Some of my favourite designs began as customer suggestions 💙
Hi lovely human,
I wanted to write this email to say thank you, and to ask you something.
So many of my favourite designs over the years have come directly from your suggestions.
Some of them were beautifully specific and full of character, and they’ve led me down creative paths I might never have explored otherwise.
The blue-footed booby birds are still a favourite of mine, and right now I’m working on a pair of kookaburra earrings suggested by a customer called Julianne, which already feel full of story and charm.

Why I love designing this way
That’s something I really value about Silver Rain Silver. It’s never been about chasing trends, but about creating storytelling jewellery. Pieces inspired by animals, nature, curiosity, and small details that mean something to the person wearing them. I love that there’s room for many different tastes, stories, and ideas.
With silver prices having more than doubled over the last 12 months, choosing to make more niche designs does come with its challenges. But I feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that resonates with this way of creating, and that supports thoughtful, character-led pieces.
I'd love your ideas
So I wanted to ask you.
If there’s an animal, idea, or little story you’d love to see turned into a piece of jewellery, I’d truly love to hear it.
Thank you for being here, for sharing your ideas, and for supporting this small brand.
With gratitude,
Emma

My favourite animal is an orangutang no one ever does anything with them, jewellery, teddy bears never seen.
I’d love more art deco enamel ideas
Even better if they’re 1920s egyptomania inspired. Thinking of the stylized geometric papyrus, scarabs and non-figurative motifs, rather than strictly animals.
I love the art deco earrings with baguette cut stones, would like more options without stones
My daughter is obsessed with worms on a string and would love a pair or earrings, but the only ones I can find a literal worms on a string that people have turned into earrings. An actual pair of cute earrings either plain silver or enamel (pairs or odd colours) would be amazing!
Hello I love dragonfly’s they are so pretty, when out with my dad as a small child we would always see if we could see them dancing over the water xxxx
I’d like to see much larger Orca earrings
