Some of my favourite designs began as customer suggestions 💙

    Hi lovely human,

I wanted to write this email to say thank you, and to ask you something.

    From your ideas to silver

So many of my favourite designs over the years have come directly from your suggestions.

Some of them were beautifully specific and full of character, and they’ve led me down creative paths I might never have explored otherwise.

The blue-footed booby birds are still a favourite of mine, and right now I’m working on a pair of kookaburra earrings suggested by a customer called Julianne, which already feel full of story and charm.

“My kids love your earrings, especially the birds and sea-themed ones. If you ever make anything with kookaburras, please let me know.”
    — Julianne, customer

Why I love designing this way

That’s something I really value about Silver Rain Silver. It’s never been about chasing trends, but about creating storytelling jewellery. Pieces inspired by animals, nature, curiosity, and small details that mean something to the person wearing them. I love that there’s room for many different tastes, stories, and ideas.

With silver prices having more than doubled over the last 12 months, choosing to make more niche designs does come with its challenges. But I feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that resonates with this way of creating, and that supports thoughtful, character-led pieces.

    I'd love your ideas

So I wanted to ask you.
If there’s an animal, idea, or little story you’d love to see turned into a piece of jewellery, I’d truly love to hear it.

Thank you for being here, for sharing your ideas, and for supporting this small brand.

    With gratitude,
    Emma

I’d love to see Uffington White Horse earrings! It’s a symbol that means so much to so many people, Terry Pratchett fans, people into prehistory, and it’s also just such a cool flowing dragon/horse shape

Red kites! They have such distinctive silhouettes and they are such a story of hope, coming back from extinction in England

Dog people love stuff in there breeds especially for vulnerable breeds, I have a Gordon setter and would love jewellery with Gordon setters on as I know all of my Gordon friends would

You already create a very cute Adélie penguin with a distinctive white ring around its eyes so why not extend the “penguin family” with more distinctive penguins like the king penguin, the chin strap penguin, the little/fairy/blue penguin and the macaroni penguin all of whom have recognisable features? I’m sure there are plenty of penguin fans who would collect the whole “family”.
