Have an idea you’d love to see in silver?
Some of my favourite designs began as customer suggestions 💙
Hi lovely human,
I wanted to write this email to say thank you, and to ask you something.
So many of my favourite designs over the years have come directly from your suggestions.
Some of them were beautifully specific and full of character, and they’ve led me down creative paths I might never have explored otherwise.
The blue-footed booby birds are still a favourite of mine, and right now I’m working on a pair of kookaburra earrings suggested by a customer called Julianne, which already feel full of story and charm.

Why I love designing this way
That’s something I really value about Silver Rain Silver. It’s never been about chasing trends, but about creating storytelling jewellery. Pieces inspired by animals, nature, curiosity, and small details that mean something to the person wearing them. I love that there’s room for many different tastes, stories, and ideas.
With silver prices having more than doubled over the last 12 months, choosing to make more niche designs does come with its challenges. But I feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that resonates with this way of creating, and that supports thoughtful, character-led pieces.
I'd love your ideas
So I wanted to ask you.
If there’s an animal, idea, or little story you’d love to see turned into a piece of jewellery, I’d truly love to hear it.
Thank you for being here, for sharing your ideas, and for supporting this small brand.
With gratitude,
Emma

I’d love to see British moths; there are some incredibly colourful species like the elephant hawk moth, scarlet tiger, angle shades, emperor moth, the visiting oleander hawk moth. I’d buy the whole collection! Hope that helps :)
My daughter would love a tiny pair of axolotl faces that she could wear to school. She already has one pair from you but they are too big and school has told her off 🫣
Hi,
I’d love to see some thistle studs.
As a Scot, I love our national flower either understated in silver or with a little bit of colour to make them stand out.
Thanks🩵 💜
I would love to see some chipmunk jewellery. I used to pet chipmunks, and they are beautiful and intelligent animals. Unfortunately, it is an animal that you just don’t find in jewellery.
We also love your earrings. I was especially pleased with the violin studs (altho we decided they could be cellos as they luckily didn’t have a chin piece!). I’ve been looking for trombone studs for ages and never found any. If you made any I’d definitely love to know.
